Grab the chance to experience genuine fishing on a day out at sea together with local fisherman Bobo Roysson. Bobo is born and raised as a fisherman in Grundsund from a family where fishing goes way back in generations.
Bobo wants to share his experience and know-how in all types of fishing around Skaftö. Bobo organises crayfish trips mainly during spring for small and larger groups. A trip is normally 3 hours and you'll discover how crayfishing with traps is done. Once in harbour you can choose to buy some of the days catch. During the summer season, most of the fishing take place outside the archipelago and time for organised trips are limited. However if you inquire and if possible, Bobo will organise it. The lobster season starts in autumn and Bobo organises tours for small and large groups. During the 3 hour trip you'll discover how lobster fishing with traps is done. If we're lucky we can also take the time to watch the seals swim buy in their natural habitat while we enjoy a coffee break. You can buy your share of the catch once in harbour but pre-order if you want to be safe. Contact Bobo Roysson, mobile +46 73 962 71 01 for more information. |

Born and raised professional fishermen from Grundsund. Bobo is born and raised a local fishermen by his parents Kerstin and Tony Roysson. Fishing has been in the family for years and it's outside the family home by the canal where Bobos moore his fishing boats.
I fish crayfish into Gullmarsfjorden, all the way to Skredsvik. However it's a long trip and most of my fishing is taking place between Skår and Finnsbo. Bobo tells us - "On a regular day we can pull op 500 traps from the bottom of the sea." Other catches is salmon trout, depending on the season, small herring and prawns. During spring and summer most of our fishing take place outside the archipelago but during this period we're depending on the weather even though the fishing out there is more efficient.
